Collection: The Beastie Boys' Legendary "G Spot"
Alex and Marilyn Grasshoff Estate, Hollywood Hills
For their second album, the Beastie Boys changed labels and relocated to Los Angeles, renting a Hollywood Hills home overlooking Universal Studios owned by veteran film producer Alex Grassoff and his wife, a renowned dancer, Marilyn (stage name Madelyn Clark). The Boys famously partied in the house, which they dubbed "the G Spot", shot videos around the pool and attended clubs and parties wearing clothes borrowed from Marilyn's mod fashion collection.
