Very Rare! Dr. Kerlan and actor Walter Matthau were neighbors and good friends who occassionally hung around the Hollywood Race Track together - as hilariously immortalized by Brad Darrach in a People Magazine profile of 1974.
This photo, in its original acrylic frame, is of Matthau with his Old English sheep dog, Puffenstuf. Matthau's dedication reads:
